Founded by Joe Mouad, Ground Source Landscaping was founded in 1999 and first started in the lawn maintenance business.  We followed that route for a couple of years until 2001, when we started adding in irrigation repair, re- sodding services, and landscape design and installation.  In 2006 Joe Mouad’s Landscaping incorporated and became Ground Source, LLC.  In October of 2006 Ground Source LLC decided to sell all of their lawn maintenance customers and focus 100% on landscaping, sod, and irrigation repair and installation.  We provide all of Central Florida with complete landscaping, sod, and irrigation services and strive for 100% customer satisfaction.  We provide service for residential and corporate clients. Are you insured?

We carry liability insurance and workers’ compensation insurance to provide 100% protection for our customers properties, employee
safety, and as well as our protection.

What kind of guarantee do you offer on sod and landscaping installations?

We offer a 30 day guarantee on all sod installations as well as a one year guarantee on all landscape installations.

How often should I water my new sod?

Typically you should water daily for the first 30 days. In the hot summer months you should water twice daily the first week, then once daily for the next three weeks. When your new sod is in the shade you should take extreme caution to not over water the sod, as you can develop root- rot.

When should I cut my new lawn?

You should generally wait 30 days or until fully rooted prior to mowing. You can tell once the lawn is rooted if you pull up on a piece of sod and it doesn’t raise up off of the ground.

What types of sod do you offer?

We offer Floratam, Bitter Blue, Seville, and Palmetto St. Augustine grasses; Empire and Jamur Zoysia; Tifway 419 and Celebration Bermuda; Argentine Bahia

What irrigation services do you offer?

We offer service, repair, and installation for new and existing commercial and residential properties. All service work is guaranteed for at least 90 days and all installation work is guaranteed for a period of one year.

What areas do you service?

We service all of Orlando and the surrounding areas including all of Orange County, all of Seminole County, all of Lake County and all of Osceola County. Specific cities are Lake Mary, Winter Park, Longwood, Altamonte Springs, Winter Park, Casselberry, St. Cloud, Kissimmee, Orlando, Windermere, Winter Garden, Clermont, and Oviedo. We service further areas when dealing with commercial jobs or larger residential jobs. Not sure, just ask!

How do you prepare the ground when re- sodding?

We first start with applying 1- 2 applications of Round- up. Once lawn is dead we remove using a sod- cutter, haul the material off, grade the lawn with our track loader, deliver and install the new sod, and clean- up.
